Whether you're new to keeping rabbits or have years of experience, BRSA exists to help smallholders raise healthy, well-cared-for rabbits with confidence. We bring together housing and husbandry guidance, welfare standards, breeding advice, and the practical realities of UK legislation — all in one place, reviewed and maintained by people who actually keep rabbits themselves. Our association is founded by committed smallholders, growing, and building something we want to last. If you keep rabbits, or you're thinking about it, we'd like you to be part of it. ![](https://brsauk.co.uk/content/images/2026/08/haycarry.jpg) ### About BRSA URL: https://brsauk.co.uk/about/ Last updated: 2026-08-06T13:34:47.000Z # About BRSA The British Rabbit Smallholders Association was founded in 2026 to give rabbit keepers on smallholdings a proper home — somewhere with real welfare standards, honest practical advice, and a community that holds itself accountable. We're not a breed club, and we're not a general pet forum. Our focus is specifically on the smallholder context: rabbits kept as part of a wider working or semi-working holding, where housing, feeding, breeding, and biosecurity decisions matter in a different way than they do for a single house rabbit. Our committee is made up of people actively keeping rabbits, not just administering a website. We intend to grow carefully — building out resources, supporting members properly, and making sure welfare stays at the centre of everything we do as the association grows. ![](https://brsauk.co.uk/content/images/2026/08/shed-1.jpg) ### Resources & Guides URL: https://brsauk.co.uk/resources/ Last updated: 2026-08-17T22:10:42.000Z _This post is for paying subscribers only._ ### Join BRSA URL: https://brsauk.co.uk/join/ Last updated: 2026-08-06T13:33:36.000Z # Join BRSA Membership is opening soon.
