About BRSA

The British Rabbit Smallholders Association was founded to give rabbit keepers on smallholdings a proper home — somewhere with real welfare standards, honest practical advice, and a community that holds itself accountable.

We're not a breed club, and we're not a general pet forum. Our focus is specifically on the smallholder context: rabbits kept as part of a wider working or semi-working holding, where housing, feeding, breeding, and biosecurity decisions matter in a different way than they do for a single house rabbit.

Our committee is made up of people actively keeping rabbits, not just administering a website. We intend to grow carefully — building out resources, supporting members properly, and making sure welfare stays at the centre of everything we do as the association grows.
